Call
The Doctoral Consortium provides an opportunity for research students to present and discuss their dissertation research with senior researchers and other students in an interdisciplinary workshop setting. We invite applications from students who have defined their dissertation research direction but still have substantial work to complete.

Submission Guidelines
Please submit:
- Paper Length: A 4-page research proposal including:
- Problem statement and motivation
- Related work and background
- Research questions and objectives
- Methodology and current status
- Results and/or expected contributions
- Timeline for completion
- A 2-page curriculum vitae
- A letter of recommendation from your primary thesis advisor addressing:
- The status of the dissertation research
- Ways in which the student would benefit from participation
- Confirmation that the student will have completed their research proposal defense by the time of the consortium
Please adhere to the Electronic Workshops in Computing paper format. Authors should submit their documents in PDF format as a single PDF.
Review Process:
All submissions will undergo a juried-by-committee process. Authors should ensure that their submissions are anonymized. Participants will be selected based on:
- The quality and clarity of their research proposal
- The stage of their research (should be past proposal but prior to final defense)
- The potential benefit from participation in the consortium
- The contribution to the diversity of topics, methods, and perspectives in the consortium
